Hi! I’m Quéla
A lover of stories, both on the screen and in real life.
With a background in film studies and education, I’ve always been fascinated by the power of storytelling to shape identity, culture, and community. In addition to the arts I am also deeply passionate about genealogy, exploring how our ancestral roots shape who we are today. Through Magnifying Stories, I am combining my love for uplifting and creating Black art, and celebrating Black artists. This blog is a place where I showcase my commitment to education and heritage, to celebrate African American culture and elevate the voices and stories that matter across the diaspora.
